Hapla Gold Felt 7mm contains an antibacterial agent which protects the felt and inhibits the growth of bacteria and fungi.
Clinically tested and verified, the Hapla Gold felts produced:
- A greater than 5-Log reduction in S aureus numbers following seven days exposure to the product.
- A greater than 5-Log reduction in Ps aeruginosa and a 2-Log reduction in C albicans numbers following 14 days exposure to the product.
(Staphylococcus aureus is a gram positive bacteria - common on human skin. Pseudomonas aeruginosa is a gram negative bacteria.Candida albicans is a fungus.)
